This webinar will be presented by Sheryl Willert and Kim Baker, two experienced labor and employment attorneys who have dedicated their careers to advising employers in matters related to workforce management.  This webinar will present a primer with essential information and tools you will need to effectively manage your labor force. Topics addressed will include:  leaves of absence (FMLA), ADA, workforce reduction tips and traps and future issues related to labor.

Presenters:
Sheryl Willert is Managing Director of Williams Kastner, and a Member in the Seattle office.  She concentrates her practice on counseling, investigations, litigation and alternative dispute resolution experience.  She has litigated cases involving all aspects of employment law for both unionized and nonunionized employers in both the public and private sector.  She is a national speaker on such topics as sexual harassment, age discrimination, and race discrimination, and has successfully defended individuals and corporations in such matters.  Additionally, Sheryl has litigated cases involving professional negligence, product liability, personal injury, contracts, and civil rights. Sheryl received her B.A. degree with distinction from Duke University in 1975 and her J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University in 1978.

Kim Baker is a Member of Williams Kastner in the Seattle office.  Her practice emphasizes employment law and counseling clients on employment issues.  Kim has substantial experience advising clients on employment issues, including terminations, investigations and preparing responses regarding into discrimination complaints and EEOC charges.  Kim also handles matters involving drug and medical device liability and health care law. Washington Law & Politics magazine recognized Kim as a Super Lawyer® for 2001-2003.  Kim received both her J.D. (1984) and her B.S. (1979) from the University of Kansas.
