Director of Operations (GI)
The Oregon Clinic (TOC) was founded in 1994
with the merging of six specialty groups. Since then, the organization
has expanded to more than
100 providers who provide care from Vancouver to Salem, and from Gresham
to Astoria. Due to their continued expansion, TOC is seeking a Director
of Operations for a newly-acquired GI group. The Director of Operations
will be responsible for the clinical operations and human resource management
of the GI Group, including managing and
assisting first level supervisors, participating in physician recruiting
and retention, and conducting performance evaluations of direct reports.
Additionally, they will be responsible for strategic planning and financial
management of the GI Group including providing input to Controllers on
budgeting. Duties include presenting financial reports and product line
profit/loss to the physician members of their divisions, monitoring the
quality and service standards in the GI Group and resolving patient complaints.
The Director of Operations will conduct and review patient satisfaction
surveys and lead by example for all staff members located in their particular
division. The ideal candidate will possess solid analytical skills and
an entrepreneurial approach to business. We are seeking candidates with
excellent interpersonal
skills and those with the ability to communicate effectively with all
levels of staff. Bachelor's degree is required; Master's degree is preferred.

Serves as a senior level internal operational and financial
consultant to Pacific Medical Centers’ Director of Ancillary Services
and the various senior management and department directors that interact
with Ancillary Services. Responsible for organizing, analyzing, and presenting
comprehensive operational, financial and statistical information to Ancillary
Services, Finance, Accounting, and Department managers to support strategic,
operational and financial functions. Includes leading complex operational
analysis, financial projection methodologies, and statistical and quantitative
methods analysis. Also responsible for the assembly, preparation, monitoring
and analyzing of Return on Investments, Profit & Loss Statements,
Financial Forecasting and various PMC budgets.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Master’s in Healthcare Administration or Master’s
in Business Administration preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business
administration, finance, accounting, economics or related field of study
and a strong understanding of Health Care finance or Health Care economics
may be substituted for Master’s.
• Two+ years
experience with healthcare or business operational and financial involvement.
